From what I gather, one doesnt have to ask permission to create a roleplay. I pray I'm correct ^-^;;
First off: The Character I am playing; Nemo, is in my character thread. And was created specifically and only for this roleplay. I hope that is all right as well ^-^ Also, with the canon characters listed in the plot below (The assasin and Nemo's brother Omen) if you wish to play either of them. Really, I suppose it is first come first serve. So just post your intro with the basic info and I'll check the character out =3 For Omen, state the original name of the character you wish to use. Or you may make another bio for him and I could post it some where. I dunno. What ever works best for you =3
--Is praying she's doing this right--
All right. Here we go with the plot:
War is a horrid thing, and is never a just cause when started. This war, later to be called the War of Crimson was started, for what was believed by the people of Lokia to be a just cause. The Prince had been murdered, by who was thought to be a Skadyan assasin. In all reality, it was the King's hired assasin who had killed the heir. The Prince was beloved by his people, and his death sent them in an outrage. The king used this, to attempt and claim the land that he wanted so. Omen, leader of the King's army was his right hand man, and his best friend. The man would never believe the King to do anything so underhanded. So, with fire fueling his heart, he led his men and women into battle, against his sister's people.
Nemo; a powerful Necromancer, and a kind queen. The Prince's death has been placed upon her people, and she will not stand for it. Once, she was proud to call herself the younger sister of Omen the mighty warrior. But now, he is merely a pawn in a greedy King's game. Throwing her affection away for her older brother, she led her own army into battle.
A lone Assasin wandered through out the Neverian Mountains, his pay hidden in his pack. The Prince's eyes were still fresh in his mind. They were just like the Queen's amber eyes that the Lokian people wrote so much poetry about; serene and gentle. The King had payed him handsomley to kill his own son. And untill now, the Assasin had not realized why. He looked to darkening sky, and began to wonder what he had caused as an eagle cried out into the black clouds. The rain began to pour, washing him clean of whatever blood still stained him...
Our story begins as the men and women of both sides rush forward at one another into battle. The battle will end within a night, the victor is unclear how ever. In Skadya, the people wait anxiously as their Queen battles a fight that should never have begun. In Lokia the King sits at his throne, a smirk upon his face. His son is dead. But does it matter? His heir's death was needed, so that the lands of Skadiya might be his. His son may have his only heir, his wife will surely produce another. Though, his wife, more then willing to bare his children, is more then just a pawn in his game. As she wanders about her home, her own mind is relentlessly turning over ideas. Ideas that may over throw her husband, and stop this horrd war.

xx______// Lokia
Lokia is a land of mountain desserts and mountain valleys. Though the land is beautiful, farming is difficult, and trading is not yet a major economical aide. The people of Lokia are much like the Norse people in our legends. Hunting is the main source of food, and mines are what bring Lokia its wealth. The mines are that of gold, silver, and other precious elements. Winters are very harsh in Lokia, bringing with them long hours of darkness, and very little hope. Lokia is a land locked country, and is severed from Skadya and the seas by the Neverian Mountains.
xx______// Skadya
Skadya's only mountains are those that break off from the vast Neverian Mountain range. This land flourishes from farming and trade. Skadya's people are that of magic and myth. They are very diverse; a person of any kind could be found in this country. Hunting is only needed for the winters, because farming of all kinds provides most food. The seas provide many trading routes, and the ports are nearly always busy along the shore line. Winters are not nearly as long as Lokian winters are.
xx______// Neverian Mountains
This mountain range is miles long, and much like what we call today the Hindu Kush. The mountains are jagged, and from tree line up are blanketed in snow year round. Half way into the mountain range, a large valley called Demiya lays. It is three miles long and four miles wide. None inhabit this valley, leaving it nearly untouched by man. The valley is green and lush in the summer, and full of flowers of all different types, which surround the small lake in the middle of the valley. A small grove of aspen trees on each side mark the begining of the mountain's once more. The mountain range itself is quite long, and small villages can be found in the various small valleyes scattered through out the range. Nomads usually call this Mountain Range home, and can be seen wandering seemingly aimlessly about. Mages usually come from this area, as to the fact Magic seems to be more potent in the mountains.
