PinName: Pin Gender: Male Age: 20 Orientation: Bi Status: Single ---------- "I walk restlessly into the night, fighting and cowering, waiting for morning light." Came the sad melodic voice, ringing through still air. People miles around stopped, tranced by the voice, they began to come to it, coming closer to their fate. "I bring death to all. I bright blight, let me kill you -- tonight." With a final cord, accenting the word tonight, everyone listening dropped dead. With a sigh, Pin put away the guitar, and began to wander aimlessly into the now silent town. So many dead, and yet, there would be so many more to die, no would could stop him, on his course for revenge, not even love. Love was what had done this to everyone. Love-- There was no such thing to Pin. It was a fake, lie. SHE had never loved him, and he had killed her. As he would kill everyone, to atone for her sins. He sat down, on the roof of a building, and allowed the music to freely relase itself as it may. He repeated the corus, save me, save me, save me. Over and over. "Save me." He whispered into the night, "Or everyone will die."

Satine
Name: Satine Gender: Female Age: 19 Orientation: Straight Status: Single
-----------------------
Satine emitted a large yawn as she stretched her arms high above her. After doing such a process, she rested her hands behind her head in a relaxing manner as she walked down the semi paved road. She had a rather medium pace, one that wasn't walking fast to signify urgency, but not slow enough to enjoy the scenes. Her pale green gaze eyed forward, her face expressing utter boredom, and she did little to hide it, not that there was a need to hide it. There was no one there to notice her random boredom. Thinking this over, Satine removed her hands from her head, letting them hang near her sides, as she cast her eyes behind her. Nothing...simply silence. She then looked forward. Nothing. Rather peculiar it was...but not so peculiar that Satine would bother on wandering why.
It was through her wandering that she noticed ahead a town/city. Her mood seemed to brighten as a thin smile played apon her lips, a smile that fit her all to well. "That's what I'm talking about..." She said, more to herself than to anything else. Thus she set forth toward it. She arrived in the area a half hour past, and her steps slowed as she then noticed the abnormal amount of bodies littering the floor. Mind you, when one would usually come across such a scene, they would scream and run, or something of the sort. However, Satine perked an amusing eyebrow. She had no need to bend over and expect the bodies for she knew indeed that they shall never rise again. "Dead..." She said, speaking her own thoughts. She shrugged at this, as if not caring for the matter and walked deeper within the town, stepping over the bodies with little interest. Bodies having no sign of wounds, scars, or even blood, this definitely had something to do with the works for magic, and a deep magic at that. As she stepped further within the depths of the town, light guitar notes could be heard. Guitar? She slowly came to a halt, using her keen hearing to listen to the sounds of music. She was definitely not imagining it, but she could not pin point the source. She was always bad at that. Mind you, fear was one thing that didn't cross her at that moment. Whoever was playing their guitar must have been the maker of this chaos, thus knows magic. But, Satine knows magic to. Thus she kept her composure.

Pin streched out, unaware of the presence of another living being. He had thought he killed everyone second before, and now he was alone, well, if you don't count the hundreds of bodies lining the streets. Pin stopped playing, setting his guitar down on the roof. He closed his eyes, his face up to the stars, brown hair falling back onto his shoulders. He heard breathing, his body turned to stone, but he did not move from his position.
He quited his heart, and slowed his breathing, keeping all his attention on the breathing. He felt her, it was a her. He slowly opened his eye, looking around, "Come out, child, I won't hurt you." He said, in his most melodic voice, trying to lure her out, so he could kill her as easily as he did the others.

The guitar seemed to cease, and after a moment of uncomfortable silence, Satine listened. But to no avail, the only sound that reached her ears was the faint whisps of wind the blow faintly through the hollow buildings. She shrugged slightly, blaiming her imagination for the guitar notes. She thus took a step forward, but then halted as a voice reached her ears. Smooth and seductive as it was, she knew him to be the cause of these limp bodies. She turned her gaze behind her, still unable to see the source, but knowing full well that he was of the magical type. After much interpretation of the bodies, their forms, their expressions, she configured it to be a death spell. A dark, deadly spell that should not be used lightly. And yet the person that called to her uses it freely. "Fool..." She said in a soft tone more to herself. It was obvious he would attempt the same spell apon her.
She put on a sly smile at this thought, the thin line apon her face fitting her maybe a little to well. Being the magic expert as she was, she knew ways to counteract this death spell of his. Though it was a light notion, she made a gesture with her had as words, spidery and twisted as they were, escaped her lips. After such incantation, one would notice that nothing noticably happened. But in truth it did. She placed apon her a margic ward, that if a spell was to be cast apon her directly it would have no effect, though it wouldn't bounce back either. However, such a spell doesn't work on magic objects flying at her, such as fire balls and whatnot. But to no matter, she had other ways of dodging such things. She then spoke, as her incantation finished, her eyes wandering the area, and locking on no specific object, to which her mischevious smile remained. "Hurt me?" She said musingly, "Now now, dear sir, such lies get far..."

Pin waited for the person to be drawn by his voice to come out and face her death. A moment more, and still nothing, perhaps he had imagined it? No, he could still hear breathe, coming in and out of the woman's lungs.
Then he could see her, "Ah hello dear," He put on a conversational tone, though inside he was a bit distrubed. Her free will should have been crushed, and she should not have been able to talk freely. "What lies? I do not wish to hurt you."

It was then that Satine was able to pinpoint the fellow, and she cast him a rather icy side glance, not bothering to turn her head quite yet. It was a couple moments after before she turned fully toward him, her hands resting apon her hips in a relaxing manner. "Oh..." She said with a shrug. "My apologies, you are quite correct, for how you choose to kill others brings about no pain, but mere sudden death." She said, eyeing him with the cold stare that never faultered. She was obviously not threated by the one that sat on the roof, and she expressed her ability of not fearing him freely. She fell silent for a moment, letting her comment sink into a dramatic pause of sorts. But it wasn't long before she spoke again, she wasn't one to hold her toungue long. "If you will, I wish you not to underestimate me, sir I have no idea what your name is." She said cooly, adressing him as 'i have no idea what your name is' for she indeed did not. "You may fool these...fools with your cheating magic but, unfortunately for you, you will not with me."

"Ah I won't? How sad, I guess I must kill you in a more painful, and slower way than I did all these others, or perhaps..." He paused, "Would you like to try and run? I'd give you a head start, the ones who run are always funner to kill. Or will you die peacefully, without knowledge?" Pin asked, standing up, cradling his guitar.
He plucked a note, two, three, four--. He combined all the notes, playing one quiet cord after another, mentally preparing himself for a fight.

"Ahhh..." She said musedly, as if all he had to say was instructions to some game. "So now you do wish to inflict harm. A testy one you are. But tell me good sir, you say that I may die, and that if I were to run it would be much more enjoyable for you. Now, if I truley am to die, tell me then why I would make it more enjoyable for you?" She said, most testingly as she eyed him with her cool pale gaze. She, of coarse waited for no answer before leaning back slightly, her eyes casting around in a rather bored manner. "No, no, sir. I shall not run, for it is not my way. Sorry to dissappoint you...ok I'm not really that sorry..." She said with a light shrug, her smile growing ever so sly, if not mischevious, as she leaned forward once again. "Might I also add that 'funner' isn't a word..." She said, cooly, perking a mused eyebrow.

((Funner is a word ;--; I said-ed it so it must be! x3))
The woman's testy manner angered Pin, but he kept his face a calm mask, keeping his anger down. "I do enjoy a chase, but if you chose not to run then I shall have to kill you in a quicker way." Pin said, playing more cords on his guitar, the air around him seemed to crackle with power, but it was her last comment that set him off.
He strumed a quick cord, one that sparked with power, and directed at the infuriating woman, hoping to kill her. It would not be a painless death, he had made sure of that, it would be a painful one, quick, but painful.

It was as the stream of energy bound toward her, that a smirk played apon her face. She obviously was not worried of his attack, for she stood in a relaxing manner, her eyes glancing down as if she had all the time in the world to dodge. It was when his power was but mere inches, maybe less that she did an abrupt turn, a rather quick and delicate one that she did with grace. Doing so, she officially dodged his attack however, she waited a little to long in actually dodging it, for apon her upper arm scathed a black mark, cutting the upper arm of her clothing a sinch, though did not peirce her delicate flesh. She looked at her arm and heaved a sigh. "Your a testy one..." She said borededly, "But to know matter...if it is a fight you want then you shall have, guitarist..." She then raised her hand horizontally toward him, and from her relaxed palm formed an orb. A black orb seemingly circling around itself that only levitated for but a moment before it zoomed toward him. Ok I lied...not actually toward him, but more of the roof that he was sitting on. If it were to collide with the roof, the roof that he sat apon would crash in and he would no longer be able to...uhh...well...sit.

Pin felt that sudden rush of adrenaline (sp?) as he saw his attack speed to her, but that was quickly replaced by a deep anger, as she dodge it. Actually dodged his attack. Well not completely, he smiled as it sliced the cloth on her arm. She is over confident, he thought to himself, I can use that to my advantage.
He watched as the black orb spiraled twoards his feet. Less than a second before the impact he jump from the roof, the explosion raced him to the ground. And small splinters and other debris (sp?) hit his back. But overall he landed with a firm 'thunk' on the ground. He flipped his head, his blond hair flowwing out of his eyes. "Impressive." Pin said to the woman, with a grin.
He took a firm stance, and began to draw energy from dead around him, pulling it into his fingers, and began to stroke the strings lovingly. Note after note, cord after cord played through the air. Building power. Yet he did not strike, he waited for her to move.

Satine's eyes narrowed toward the character before her. The atmosphere seemed to pulse as he absorbed what energy there was from the dead. However she kept her cool, calm expression, her thin smile ever so strong upon her clean face. True enough, she was quite the battling sort, however she didn't want to go into a battle so suddenly until she gathered at least some information. Thus she cast her eyes away and began observing the dead. "May I dare ask, sir, why you kill so many?" She said, as her body moved fluently through the bodies, semi circling him as she stepped over the corpses. She stopped at one particular body, and knelt, placing a delicate hand apon the dead man's neck as to check his pulse. "Many things lead to such killings. Hatred, sadness, jealousy..." she then added a dramatic pause, her eyes leaving the corpse before her and falling back on him. "...love..." The simple word slipped from her mouth in a cool, dark manner. Mind you, she didn't know his story, but there was an aura about him, one she had seen to many times. ((not expirenced mind you but seen)) She was no fortune teller but she was good at depicting others character, their worries, their fears. Whether or not she got this one right, she did not know. None the less, she stood on that note, eyeing him with a sly, mischevious gaze as to wait for his reply.

Pin listened, ignoring her words until she spit out that word. That hated word, love. His resolve faltered and the engery he had been drawing slipped. It fell back into the ground, and his once deathyl aura now took on the feel of someone who was lost. "Who are you to ask such a question?" He asked, keeping his head down, his eyes on his shoes.

Satine let out a laugh, a loud healthy one that echoed throughout the streets. "Stuck a nerve, have I?" She said musedly, obviously finding his weakness amusing. "No fear, loverboy. It was an obvious factor that one could tell with ease." She stretched her arms high as if to be bored at the moment. "Now now, sir, that was no question. Being as you reacted, I see no reason why I should ask why you commited such an act." She shrugged, her eyes glinting in a mischevious manner. "So, loverboy, what's your next move. Care to confess you story?"
