ChidoriName: Chidori, or Chi Gender: Female Age: 17 Orientation: Straight Status: Single ---------- Chidoir floated in the clouds, twittering her wings back and forth to stay in the air. Every so often a feather would break lose and fall gracefully to the ground far below. Keen eyes searched the ground below, looking for a demon, waiting to strike. Chidori would find them, find them all, and wipe them all out. A shadow moved stealthily below, Chidori saw it, and watched it move. "Found you, pet." Chidori said with a malicious hiss. Down she plummented, bringing white magic to her finger tips. A small explosion followed, as the angel's finger's hit the flesh of the demon. A battle soon followed that. The angel rolled away from the demon, summoning blinding white light to her finger tips, and shot them at the demon. The demon dodged, grabbing a dagger and throwing it at the angel. The dagger nicked unprotected flesh of the angel's on her shoulder. In rage, Chidori used her blood to strenghten a spell which bound the demon back to hell. "Die." She hissed through clenched teeth as the spell was released. With a spark, the demon was gone. Chidori made fast work of hiding the evidance of a fight, and quickly took to the clouds.

A creature quivvered far below the clouds, fear traced down his spine in the form of a shudder. The demon was not of humanoid appearance, no, he was far from it.
Jebus was long in form, long and short. For all the word, had one not seen his head, they might mistake him for an oversized ferret or weasel, but he was neither of those things. His head was blunt, with hardly a maw, but his gums were filled with sharp, pointed teeth and two long fangs. His eyes were small and narrow, glowing a luminous gold, but as of now they were clentched tight in fear. His ears were long and oversized, much like the ears of a bat, and were pressed hard against his head and lengthy neck. Most of his body was covered in thick, ebony fur. It was dense and protective against cold temperatures and freezing water. He did, after all, come from the far depths of Hell, where he had once been a rather precarious servant to Satan.
It was not easy, far from it. He sat beside his master, who greatly dwarfed him and was frozen in the ground below the waist, in the bitter cold. He often ran little errands here and there and conveyed messages. Mostly, though, he sat there.
The thick fur came in handy, protecting him from freezing to death, had it been possible to meet his fate in Satan's depths before it was his time. He did was not helpless, however, and did have natural ways of defending himself, as well as supernatural. Long spines traced down his back from head to tailtip. The sopines were strong and as ebony as his fur, and each was filled with a noxious poison, which gave him the upperhand in the simple aspects of survival.
He pressed his elongated body near himself, his whole lengthy frame shuddering with fright. He had seen how quickly the angel had taken out the demon, a demon he had known well, and feared that she would notice his huddled form. He had taken up hiding in a rotting old log. Insects moved and twittered all around him. A few of the beastly things hissed or bit at his skin, but he ignored them. thought sof survival were the only things he focused on, his life was more or less important to him and he could not fial the one thing that dominated his measily little life.
OOC: I hope you do not mind me having Satan in such a predicament. Most think of him with fire, yet Dante's Inferno has him frozen. I have yet to read it, but some of my friends talk about it often... I can change it if you would like. I am just making all this up on the spot.

OOC: Not that's fine, I've yet to read Dante's Inferno, I do want to however. I've never really thought of Hell as being hot anyway!
BIC: Chidori flittered in the clouds high above, were the human eye couldn't see. It was freezing up there, and little air penetrated this far up into the atmosphere. Chidori's eyes were closed as she floated high up, her wings moving so quickly they were a blur of white sparkles. Her body was stone still, hanging limply, eyes closed, and hands in a praying way. Clasped toghter, finger to finger, pointing upwards.
There the small Angel was meditating, searching for more demons to destroy. She had been sent from Heaven to eradicate all demons in the city she now floated over, and she intened to do so. An incantation, repeated over and over, fell from Chidori's lips, aiding in the art of meditation.
Her senses flared, she felt the demon's presence, but the creature was small, to small to be able to get an exact postion on. Grey eyes fluttered open, icicles shattering off long lashes, "I will find you, demon, just wait." Muttered Chidori, spreading frozen wings and sweeping downward.
Chidori sweep low into the city, at once coming within ten feet of the hiding demon, still she could not detect it. Eventually she settle on a side walk, hiding her Angelic form from the mortal eye, "Demon, I know you are here, you may hide from me now, but I will find you and kill you as I did the last, it is only a matter of time."

Another shudder traced down his narrow spine as he pressed himself further into the log in which he hid himself. It was only by chance that he happened on the small park in the center of the city. It was not large at all and the street was visible from where he hid, and he only wished that his fur would be like that of an arctic creature and change to a hue of white come wintertime.
He poked his nose out from his hidingplace, and smoke seemed to dance around his maw as he inhaled, then exhaled. He feared leaving his place until the angel was gone, but her words danced in his mind.
"I know you are here, you may hide from me now, but I will find you and kill you..." He muttered under his breath in a sarcastic tone, his words barely audible to any but himself and the bugs that wriggled about him.
"Angelic trash, naught but a taint on my life as 'tis." He braced himself, ready to make a dash for it. If only he didn't stand out against the crisp snow that fell to the ground, maybe then would he be able to hide amongst the bushes and other things that often litter the forest floor. His large ears perked as he listened for more signs from her, but he could hear nothing but the hustle and bustle of the people who braved the cold to reach their destinations.

((Bleh, I'm sort of at writers block, so excuse this if it is short.))
Chidori had stopped searching, the cold was beginning to bother even her. "I'll find that demon later, when it warms." With that Chidori tucked her wings around her and headed to an apartment complex three blocks from the park.
((I'm sorry, I'm having a severe writer's block.... D=))

When he finally summoned up the courage to emerge from the old, rotten log, he breathed a heavy sigh of relief. The angel was nowhere to be seen, which was a good omen to him.
He padded along the busy sidewalk streets, unafraid of mortals seeing him. To them, he had the outward appearance of a small dog. It was nothing more than a trick of the eye, for while they saw a shaggy mutt wandering the streets, there was something more villainous lurking beneath.
As he went a small growl caused him to pause in his tracks.
Grrrrrrrrrrrgle....
Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrgle...
He flattened his large ears in embarrasment, for he hungered greatly. There was little time for a proper hunt. It was broad daylight and he walked amongst the humans. He gave a sigh of dismay and moved on, wandering the streets aimlessly, as he would until night would fall.

A rumbling alerted the angel, she had fallen into a light sleep. Sitting bolt upright, Chidori listened, it was a rumbling, one that a stomach would make. Up in Heaven she had been trained to listen for noises such as those, human stomachs did not make noises as loud as that. Chidori sighed, sort of regretting going back out into the cold, she slipped into a human's form, one that was no different from any of the other mortals walking the street. A mortal could not tell the difference, that underneath the outter exterior lay an Angel, poised and ready for battle.
Chidori left the small complex and headed for the park, where she had felt the demon the greatest. As she walked, her breathe made a halo of white vapors around her head, giving off a divine look. "Come out, come out, wherever your damned hide may be I will find you." She whispered, searching the park. She found no sign of a demon, yet she knew were he had been hiding. Chidori could not feel his presence, so she would wait. He should be back, the demon from hell was hungry, she had heard it, he'd hunt at night. And she hoped he'd return to the park.
Chidori decided to wait, sitting down on the bench, looking like any other girl woudl, observing the cold land around. Luckily, night was falling, soon---soon.

A loud clatter broke the slight stillness of the night, which had fallen quite rapidly over the city. THe place did not exactly sleep, but it slowed to a few scattered groups of people here and there and the occasional car.
Jebus winced as the sound echoed down the alleyway, which he had been trecking and hunting in. Sadly, all he had found was a rat, which dangled from his needle-filled mouth.
It was dead, dead as a doornail and blood dripped from his jaws.
Surely his trespassing earlier had not been forgotten and he was afraid that the angel would of heard him. He scampered quickly out into the street, he did not fear the humans the slightest, he would go after them when the night thickened and very, very few stragglers were left.

The moon was peaking above the trees, stars began to twinkle in the darkness. Chidori still sat, the only indication that she was not a stone, was the quick rise and fall of her chest. Soon the cold began to nip at her inner form and she had tired of waiting. She stood, shaking off the mortal apperance. No one but a few people were around, who would believe someone if they said saw an Angel. Modern society no longer believed in divinity. With a quick thrust of her small wings she was flying again, low to the tree tops, scanning the ground. Acute hearing picked up every sounds, acute smell took in the smell of a city, and acute eye made her eyes better than a hawks. Chidori began to sing in a strange launage, the notes were her only comfort as she searched the city for the demon.
